August 29, 2014 - I liked this at least as much as when I tasted it at the winery over 2 years ago and selected this as my favorite to take home. Perfumed nose, with spicy and dark fruit notes, and on the palate the spiciness and cinnamon notes were more prominent - an interesting complex finish that lingered and had some acidity. A lot like a good burgundy, but with a bigger structure and more body. Really a pleasure and sorry to see the bottle finished.

February 13, 2014 - Silky smooth Pinot. Not many layers, but has lush red fruit with a bit of oak. Lighter body, well balanced, with shorter finish. Easy drinking and steady, but not that interesting.

July 19, 2012 - Single Vineyard Russian River Valley (San Francisco): clear, red in color. cherry, earth, warmth, berry, on the nose. cherry, cedar, oak, blackberry, on the palate. smooth, with warm jets on this short finish.
