August 15, 2017 - Cotton candy and bubble gum on the nose, ripe palate, just enough acid, drink over next 3 yrs.

July 3, 2017 - Trust me, you need to decant this for at least one hour. It is really closed down. It is not too young or too tannic, it just does not show unless you give it a one - two hour decant.

June 30, 2017 - I agree with Andrew H - A more restrained style for KB. A bit tart, less fruit forward. My least favorite KB to date.

    14.5% ABV

June 20, 2017 - wow! Really good. Lots of dark cherry and cola on the long smooth finish.

May 5, 2017 - PnP -- to avoid the 'fading' mentioned in some TNs. The nose put forth plenty of dark red fruits (dark cherry) along with a modest amount of earth and cola. On the palate the wine showed medium+ weight, with gobs of red and dark cherries, sufficient acidity to balance, a dose of cola, and a touch of fine tannins. The wine is clearly ready to drink and should last at least a few more years. Did not experience any of the fading over time as mentioned in other TNs.
