March 24, 2016 - Solid, big cab drinking very nicely right now.
Long finish, "chewy" style, with nice fruit. Wish I had more.
June 28, 2015 - Color: Deep Purple
Nose: Once it settled down, it classic Napa aromas with notes of huckleberry, cassis, clove and nutmeg.
Palate: Full bodied, rich, well balanced tannins with a bit of heat
Finish: Long lasting with some heat
Decanting: Decanted ~ 1 hour
Thoughts: Going from memory on these tasting notes. The wine was very good after letting decant for ~ 1 hour. First taste is was very hot, which mean high alcohol, but reduced after a while. I would really like to taste this wine with less alcohol. Still a very good wine.
February 5, 2014 - Best cab I tried on our recent trip out. Great mountain fruit and structure. Long smooth finish. Just as good or better on day 2. Put some pricier stuff from Del Dotto to shame.

May 24, 2013 - What happened to this Pina? Alcohol heat. Dark austere fruit, with good heft, but muddy. I generally LOVE Pina, but this is far and away the poorest showing I have had from them. Any suggestions? I have another bottle that I have to get rid of. I will try it again in a year, but I think the fruit is only going to get worse. Maybe I just got 2 bad bottles.
