December 23, 2015 - More spice at the start but smooths quickly; full flavored dark red fruit with moderate depth; moderate finish; I think it still has cellar-life.

December 17, 2015 - Splash-decanted and serially tasted over 2-3 hours, this wine proves itself to be a "bruiser" that is packed with black fruit... but even more so with edgy tannins. Bramble fruits, anise, crushed rocks and dried herbs reside in a full-bodied, fresh frame. Solid in the middle, it concludes with an astringent finish which includes a whiff of heat from the 15.6% alcohol. Enjoyable for what it is, I nonetheless find this wine to be disjointed and not worthy of extended cellaring. Drink now-2016.

December 4, 2015 - Very well balanced Zin. Juicy but not overripe nor over extracted. Great with ribs.

October 28, 2015 - OK, but weird tasting finish. Not as good as others because of that, but other typical Turley characteristics are there.
