May 7, 2019 - Good, great QPR - but a little past its prime. Crisp, tart chenin, a little oxidized, interesting. Just seemed a tad thin.

January 13, 2019 - Waxy, slight oxidative nose. Much better on the palate. Nice acidity and salinity. Chenin notes that I always struggle to describe. Very good.

June 8, 2016 - On the nose the first impression was honey and flowers. On the palate it is repeated with a mineral core, great acidity, residual sugar helps temper the acidity. On the finish the herbal minerals carry through.

September 28, 2015 - Quite nice. Slight nutty/earthy flavors starting to emerge, with a bright acidic backbone keeping everything in balance. Drinking well now, but seems to have the potential to improve with more time in the cellar.

April 18, 2015 - Yes, agree with Zoomin Z. Wine was harder, sweeter, dessert-ier than I remember from just three months ago. Less fruity. More something-or-other sweet and interesting. Still have most of a case left to go. Cannot imagine what it will become from here.

September 13, 2014 - When compared to a year ago, more of a floral nose with generous fruit dominated by apples. A tiny touch of oxidation more evident now which added more complexity in a pleasing way with a hint of almond paste. Round, medium weight body, perfectly balanced with a long finish when close to room temperature. I strongly advise not to chill this wine too much, the flavors blossom at a slightly warmer temperature.

April 18, 2014 - No formal notes - very nice. Smooth with acidity balancing a hint of sweetness, medium to full mouthfeel. Delicious. 2 bottles gone in a flash...

February 16, 2014 - Oh, I love this wine. The fruit has retreated to the background (quince, pear, plum). Dry honey, minerals, some chamomile thing going on. A touch of bitter on the end. Awesome and tons of character.
