October 3, 2014 - Dark ruby. Herbal nose which was surprising. Beautiful round dark fruit in mid palate. A bit too much mouth puckering for my taste but maybe just a sign that it could cellar for a few more years. Good tannic grip. Medium finish with some cassis. Well balanced, enjoyable Napa Cab. Consider even drinking this in another 3 to 5 years to see if it mellows some. Nice wine.
