December 19, 2023 - Excellent stuff, although it's definitely on the young side still. Complex nose of violet, rose, blackberry, cherry, slate, earth, light smoke, and cedar. The palate even more so with blackberry, cherry, plum, bay leaf, cacao, violet, a bit of earth and leather. Medium body and medium+acidity and tannins. Definitely understand the hype.

August 20, 2023 - This took many hours to come together—thought it was corked on open—but drank very well, especially the next day. Juicy and dense. Wild berry, with some dark fruit. The tannin are still somewhat tight though very approachable the next day.

November 25, 2022 - Spicy and painfully young; shows a lot of promise but painfully bitter tannin make it difficult to approach yet.

September 13, 2022 - Decanted and served right away. Deep ruby. Vibrant blueberry fruit, spice, and herbs on the nose. Medium weight with great chocolatey density and soil. Discretely ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit, a touch of olive, outstanding acidity, and ripe tannins. Wondrous wine that is still in the early going. So clean that it is a shock to the palate for someone reared on old, funky Tempier. I would hold for another 5 to 7 years for full maturity.

September 9, 2020 - From the list au Bon George. Surprisingly accessible and ready to drink. Showing a lot of mourvedre aromatics.
Very bloody, leather and touch of brett, mineral nose with fresh dark fruits with hint of red berry.
I loved the freshness of the palate and the 14.5% were absolutely not noticeable. Integrated tannins.
    Long finish.

July 31, 2020 - If you're reading this because you want to see if it's a good time to open your bottle, DO IT. And if it's like 5 years from now then REALLY DO IT.

This was amazing two days ago, and hot fire tonight. Smoldering damson plum tapenade, leathery old library book, gangly brambles and blackberries, balsamico [Brent25's note below nailed it], Starburst acid, wild boar ragù, pomegranate, smoking rubber tires. Can't look away!

July 28, 2020 - Tempier's 2010 Tourtine is one of the better vintages of this cuvée, both herbal and meaty, with a lovely finesse to the palate despite a hint of ripeness to the dark fruited flavors. Many years ahead. (Approximately 85% Mourvèdre with the remainder Grenache and Cinsault.)

May 6, 2020 - Damn! One thing I love about Tempier with some age on it is that whatever you taste and smell upon opening will have approximately zero to do with how it works out three hours later. This was muted - thought maybe corked - and then it REALLY WASN'T. Needs two hours, but then it's a magnificent accompanyment to acidic spaghetti sauce and broccoli raab. Mildest amount of bandaid that faded over time. Will keep aging forever because it's Tempier. I am slightly drunk - how about you?

February 17, 2020 - Clear medium ruby; clean medium plus nose of balsamic, game, barnyard, dried black cherries, soil, black licorice and dried raspberries: high acidity; medium tannins; high alcohol; medium plus body; pronounced flavour intensity; pfn with addition of tar and dark cocoa; long finish; outstanding quality; reminds us of a high acid Brunello with meaty notes
