December 22, 2013 - Consistent with previous bottles
September 20, 2013 - Similar to the last bottle, earthy nose with mixed fruit. Tart red fruits on the palate, it did open up a bit, after a few hours, and put on a little weight. Still finishes with bright red fruit and an almost cranberry like note.
February 11, 2013 - A very earthy nose, a bit sinewy with hints of red fruit. Very tart, bright red fruit dominates the palate. Tart cherry and raspberry, the mid-palate fades a bit. Finishes with a very acidic note.
July 19, 2012 - Needed hours to open up. High tannins. Low Fruit. Tart and acidic. Worked with food. Would not buy again.

December 17, 2011 - Very good for the price - typical Beaune, with the open-knit texture expected of the 2008 vintage. A lot of character for a Burg at this price point.
