July 30, 2016 - Drinking well as a young wine but, compared to some wines with more btl age this stood out as still quite youthful tonight. Pretty nice balance but still some baby fat and oak to chew through. Decent lift for domestic Cab but not the zip of something more classic from France. Needs to add some complexity too.

August 27, 2015 - Wonderful CA Cabernet. Dark color. Great nose with dried herbs, bell pepper, dark fruit etc. Complex palate. Some oak but very we'll integrated and balanced. Fantastic wine that will last for many years to come. Great QPR, highly recommended!

July 4, 2015 - Decanted at 3PM for 2-1/2 hours and then back into the btl prior to drinking around 6PM with ribs. After getting rid of the sediment was left with a low neck fill. Aromatic from the get go. A nice balance of CA ripeness and savory, earthy BDX flavors; of cedar, currants, licorice and cigar box. More structure and lift than many CA Cabs help keep this vibrant and food friendly. Try to wait a few more years again for more evolution but drinking very well right now.
