July 7, 2016 - Bob's B-Day (Ripple - Washington, DC): I was worried I was opening this too early, but really interesting to taste it right now, even if it's in a bit of a transitional phase. So much mint on the nose! Mint on top of rosemary and white pepper, not to mention oyster shells and smashed rocks. Wonderful convergence of rich texture/oily mouthfeel with brisk, tingling acidity. Sliced apples and guava fruit is absolutely drenched in minerals, sea salt and an intense herbal cocktail of min, rosemary and fennel. It really opened up a lot as it got air and warmed up over the course of the evening. This has a long way to go but even in this stage, it's fascinating and delicious.

November 11, 2015 - A first for me…..HELLO minerals! Like drinking from a puddle in a rock quarry next to a citrus orchard! So fresh and bursting with crisp tart citrus fruit, as well as some exotics…..complexities abound with clean petrol, flowers, chalk, smoked herbs…..reminded me a little of Trimbach CSH and a white Bordeaux combo…..this was SUPER interesting and tasty! Looks to be a long ager as well. Will be on the lookout for this stuff!

July 18, 2014 - Wound up very tight, bright lemon fruit with an intense minerality. Great core, just not expressing it yet.

July 15, 2014 - This was stunning and wonderfully dichotomous, as richly textured, deep citrus fruit battled searing acidity and vibrant minerals for one's attention. Complexities abound with underlying dew laden cut grass, fresh green herbs, grapefruit rind, and honeysuckle. An excellent, lengthy, and tightly wound finish bodes well for the cellar. Hold.
