June 24, 2013 - grapey barrel sample nose; lush plum with a bit of prune, boysenberry and slightly bitter black tea. Youth and low acidity makes this a bit heavy right now, though it can go with hearty fare.

April 23, 2013 - Soft and plush with appealing fruit. Dangerously delicious. Would rate it higher if it offered more tannic structure and supporting savory notes but man - this is a very enjoyable wine to drink.

January 6, 2013 - Dark purple wine with a sweet nose of boysenberry and just a hint of alcohol. On the palate, tea flavors are prominent with dark fruits in the background. Medium acidity and soft tannins. Built to drink early, methinks. A pleasurable wine, if not particularly interesting.
