Community Tasting Notes 67

  • ShadowIII Does not like this wine:

July 3, 2023 - pronounced Brett, saddle leather, barnyard, fruit gone, sadly gone (in 2021, a different bottle rated 95)

  • danielbleier Likes this wine: 94 points

December 21, 2022 - A real delight to drink with Harvey and Zahir. Only light bricking on the very edge of the wine, really nuanced with dark cherry and plum blended with cigar box and light herb flavors. Clearly needs to drunk soon but very, very nice.

  • Max S. Likes this wine: 94 points

December 11, 2022 - Maybe a 94.5, slightly better than the 90. Smoked meat and dark fruit. Good acid, good body, solid finish. Light bricking.

  • MC2 Wines Likes this wine:

December 11, 2021 - Q4 2021 Wine Club: The Return with Aged Rhone (Our apt): Wine #7: Again a more fruit based wine. Get some floral and potpourri. This was almost at the level of hand soap style format. Surprising given region. The only ‘good’ bottle that did not get much love (but I personally think Hermitage is a bit over-rated in Rhône) (0 pennies)

  • ShadowIII Likes this wine: 95 points

November 23, 2021 - drinking beautifully, deep dark fruit, leather, bacon fat, roasted meats, pepper, well integrated tannins, long finish, has years to go, has not even reached a plateau, easily wine of the night
