June 23, 2018 - Ben was over recently for a wine tasting and suggested it might be time to drink this up. Absolutely lovely, resolved, excellent acidity and freshness, dark, faintly herbal, tobacco, dark fruit. This is indeed ready. No overt tannin. Nothing tired or fading. Just at peak, soft, expressive, and mature. Really enjoyable.

April 15, 2015 - Not expecting much, but quite nice. Expressive nose, smooth finish. Plenty of fruit and tannin is minimal. More oak than I'm used to but not oppressive.

September 6, 2011 - Bit rough, tannins haven't really faded. Some nice flavors of cherries and currants come out after awhile, but roughness never fades.
