February 19, 2019 - Light off gold. Tropical citrus aromas. Nice structure and acidity, more pear than apple in the glass.

November 14, 2013 - Very delicious offering from Matello. Round and inviting on both the nose and the palate. Very enjoyable and infinitely drinkable! I have had a couple of other Oregon Chardonnays recently and this one stood head and shoulders above them. Great mouth feel and tropical flavors. Nice acidity level keeps things bright throughout. I am yearning for another taste as I write this.

May 4, 2013 - 2013 Oregon Chardonnay Symposium (Red Ridge Farms in the Dundee Hills of Oregon): Tropical scents mix with stones on the wonderfully complex nose. Full texture delivers on the palate with huge acidity all across. The fruit starts out with lime flavors and evolves toward mangoes while green apple and lime style acidity continues to build on the sides of the mouth. A touch of orange sits on the mid palate while the acidity makes the mouth water late on the finish. The acid driven fruit gives an interesting contrast to what the nose suggests.

April 21, 2013 - EWG Tastes Oregon Wines - April 21, 2013 (Roy's Pasadena): Great to taste this wine again. In a very good place but probably should rest a little longer. Marcus has reduced the amount of oak this sees in the future but I thought this handled the oak just fine. Giving it a richness but not making it hedonistic. Probably dig out my last bottle in 2 or 3 years.

April 21, 2013 - EWG Oregon Pinot Dinner at Roy's (Roy's Hawiian Cuisine): First got a little dose of vanilla, then melon, and slight butterscotch; soft entry, oily texture, good viscosity and finish. This grew on me. If these were compared to Cote de Beaune whites, this would be Meursault.
