November 25, 2023 - Delicious to the last drop! Very impressive for a long aged Barbera. Exceptional. Even better after a few days in the fridge. Super smooth and luscious with an exceptional floral bouquet. Dark cherry. Perfect for the Holidays.

September 8, 2020 - Probably the best Barbera I have ever tasted! It continues to deliver after one decade with silky smooth texture and great floral aromas. Really nice. I am so impressed with Producer variations and Sottimano is clearly one of the very best.

June 19, 2020 - Love this Producer; love this Barbera. It is truly very good after a decade of aging. Just enough fruit and floral to really make it a totally enjoyable dinner vino that goes with many options.

May 27, 2020 - Under the radar, deliciously smooth Alba that ages quite well. I really enjoy this Barbera especially after a week in the fridge. Seriously, it is a very well made vino.

February 2, 2020 - Delicious. Whatever issues with last bottle several years ago are resolved or not present in this one. Echo King Cab's notes on this, though a couple more years of age have been kind. Perfect balance, good length, nice body, fine integrated tannin. Lovely dark fruit, blackberry, hints of black cherry, hint of earth and smoke, very enjoyable in nose and palate, brings Barbera up a notch approaching a transparency of fruit not always found.
