August 18, 2019 - - Crimsom color. It's balanced with a medium body. Smooth texture with a long finish.
August 21, 2016 - A consistently fine Pinot.
April 6, 2015 - Interesting.
This was just a hard pinot to put my finger on.
This paradoxically had a green, vegetal element to it, but came in at 14.5% ABV while showing a great deal of vibrant fruit. My wife found a smoky element, but again, couldn't quite put her finger on what else was going on. I found quite a bit of cherry in this, and notes of dusty earth and spice.
Overall this was an intellectually interesting pinot which captivated me aromatically, although I found the palate less interesting.

December 15, 2014 - Solid, 2hr decant, everything from that region and winemaker you would expect.
Dusty cherry on the nose, med body, ruby red in color.
In a good spot as far as aging as well, in the drinking window for another 2-4 yrs.

March 28, 2014 - Gorgeous right out of the bottle. Bright fruit with enticing spice and finesse. Drink now if you have some.
March 13, 2014 - this is a nice wine and almost worth the price I paid for it in NY. I had two bottles and the second one was full of life and flavor compared to the first one, which seemed a bit dead even after opening for an hour+. The finish is long. There's also notes earth and spice to it, which are a bit stronger than its fruitiness, at least for me. I recommend giving it a try.
November 5, 2013 - I little jammy at first but after 30 minutes the wine settled in and was quite nice. Big cherry in your face favors.
October 18, 2013 - Drinking really well after a bit of air. Deep fruit, earthiness, long finish and savory nose. Sad it's the last one. Loving the SRH pinots.
October 3, 2013 - This is a well balanced wine. It has aromas and tastes of cherry and raspberry with a medium finish.
