January 6, 2014 - A bit tight at first, but opened up after some air. Getting to the end on this one - would suggest drinking this year.
August 1, 2013 - Not bad, but I don't see why this is that great for the price.

May 16, 2013 - Nice flavors of chocolate, bramble, and cherry, but with enough acid to keep the wine from being flabby.
$27.99 OH retail
May 1, 2013 - very much enjoyed, as this is my style of zin. Not heavy or over-oaked or headily alcoholic - just pure, sweet fruit with touch of bramble. not as complex as geyserville, but with similar weight and presentation.

February 8, 2013 - This is a lighter Zinfandel, a little more typical of what used to be produced more widely in California 15+ years ago, and definitely more characteristic of those produced in northern California, rather than the beasts from places like Paso Robles or high heat areas of central California. This wine has a lighter color, and brighter fruit, and isn't heavy handed with the alcohol. The fruit and acidity are balanced nicely so that they work with food without over powering it. More like a Carlisle (but generally not as good) than a Turley. Very nice wine for many occasions.
