March 11, 2023 - Incredible! Opened March 2023. Not sure how this ended up in our collection - I think it was either a Buena Vista cellar sale or Grocery Outlet score. Based on other reviews, we were worried this was over the hill but this was not the case. PnP. Softened and well-intregated, with still a touch of tannins still present. Tertiary notes beginning to emerge but surprisingly no brickishness in color. I actually think this could have aged even longer
October 3, 2020 - Powerful nose of raspberry and leather, lighter body and most Napa cabs. Cherry, plum and leather. Excellent value for $8 at grocery outlet and drinking well for a 2002.
September 5, 2020 - Just way past prime. I don’t think the sink even appreciated it when I dumped it out
August 30, 2020 - Fantastic wine and it was cellared to mature way passed expected prime. Will look for more of this wine and store a few for 10-15 years. Sipped a glass but will save the rest for steak dinner tonight.
February 22, 2020 - Very good Napa Cabernet. Used Corovin and it drank well as soon as I poured it.
Faint alcoholic nose. Dark red color. Medium body. Soft tannins, not a big bold wine. Long legs. Medium to long finish.
Goes well by itself or with food. At it's peak or just past. Drink it now and enjoy.
April 3, 2019 - PNP with a Tri-tip & Broccoli. A little musty but that blew off quickly. It's a fully mature wine but I didn't see any reason to think it wouldn't go another 5 years. after 30 minutes the nose bloomed to Fruit, earth, a little flint and maybe some herbs. Good Napa cab for $20.00.
December 10, 2016 - Not what I had hoped. Almost had a medicinal taste to it. Not pleasant. Certainly wasn't corked, just not a good bottle.
May 1, 2016 - Note: I use a rating scale for which 85 represents a very good wine.
A bit from memory (my apologies), let it breathe for a while (45 min) and then decanted -- this helped. Interesting taste, almost pruney, and dare I say, reminiscent of a Bordeaux. Drink 'em f you got 'em.

August 16, 2015 - Excellent despite advanced age. Nicely balanced.
