Community Tasting Notes 1

January 30, 2014 - Tough and still primary on first taste but by the end of the first glass it shows some wild mushroom and light soy with brooding, rustic, dark tannins and sweet leather under a mix of rich cherry and tart cranberry. In addition there is a light purple/black plum flavor which is really interesting. This wine is just now exhibiting faint signs of maturity but I would not be surprised to see this go many more years.
    Time to bury my others.
