July 7, 2017 - Traveled to Cape Cod for vacation, opened and drunk over 2 hours. Could have used a little more breathing time. Medium to dark garnet color with a fragrant and enticing nose with lots of vanilla, black fruit and floral and herbal notes. great mouth feel with moderate youthful fine tannin but chewy and rich. Bright flavors of black plum, blackberry, black cherry, racy spices and a long chocolatey and floral finish. Moderate alcohol at 14% for a dominant Zin based wine, perfectly balanced and probably with room to still improve with time

July 2, 2017 - Ruby hue that opens with violet and vegetal aromas leading to blackberry and spice on the palate. Full-bodied with great acidity/fruit balance that finishes with a lingering intensity of licorice and cedar.

May 13, 2017 - Yup, it's a Ridge Geyserville, which I'm starting to prefer to my old favorite Lytton Springs. It's also one of the few zins which seems to hold up more than 5 years (your mileage may vary). Still, it's drinking well now, so drink up.

April 20, 2017 - I generally really like this wine and this vintage is no exception. This wine has dark berry, is fruit forward yet elegant, and really, really sexy. I'd do her/him/it again : )
