April 20, 2017 - I generally really like this wine and this vintage is no exception. This wine has dark berry, is fruit forward yet elegant, and really, really sexy. I'd do her/him/it again : )

March 8, 2017 - just right bramble and wild berry; plenty of stuffing. Good acidity and a bit of heat on the finish (that is covered up well in the long finish). The
carignan seems to be more prominent this vintage. Always a spectacular pairing with left over Zachary's deep dish pizza. Add five points because i finished a 72hr shift at 8am today, where it rained the whole time, and got to sit out on our back porch (after a brief nap) in full sun, with nothing else to do but drink wine at noon, knowing i had a small day ahead of me. The QPR of this (and the pizza) is marginal, but hey, today it's worth it.

November 10, 2016 - Brilliant effort after the herbaceous 2010. Excellent and drinking very well now (decent or leave open for an hour). Many years of maturation left.
