September 14, 2018 - Still could use a bit more acidity, but otherwise coming together nicely since the last bottle.
July 29, 2018 - No notes other than it was the hit of the evening and a bummer it wasn't a 3 ltr botttle! LOL Remembering complex and yet balanced richness that held up to and complimented a fantastic grilled Chilean sea bass with a caramelized shallots & herbal butter cream sauce.
October 30, 2017 - You know when you're underwater with your eyes closed and don't know which way is up? That's the experience of sipping this amber gold wine. Ripe blood orange pungently on the nose, followed by golden apple, vanilla and brown baking spices. Taste and nose are harmonious, layering in a smooth buttery texture. Nicely balanced medium acid and a pop of white peppercorn (or depending on who you are, the light tartness of a kiwi core) on the finish. Great balanced wine and tremendous value.
July 13, 2016 - Still going strong
June 18, 2016 - Aromas of apricot and peach which carry on to the palate with floral and mineral notes. Moderate finish that could use more acidity.
January 28, 2016 - Rich and unctous with tropical fruits and touch of oak on the finish
November 28, 2015 - One of the hits of the night, this fruit forward, peach and pear dominant Viognier was ready to drink. With a little air it opened and was quickly consumed by guests.
May 22, 2015 - This wine is more complex than most viogniers. The floral nose is subdued and flavors of tropical and stone fruits prevail. The fruit flavors are soon joined and supplanted by mineral and graphite which lead into a prolonged refreshing finish.
March 28, 2015 - Popped and poured. This is a medium gold wine with visible flecks of matter. The nose carries wax and a nice flower meadow. The mouth is crisp and bright, leaving a marshmallow-like finish. This is certainly still kicking and enjoyable. 91 points.
March 26, 2015 - intense floral aromas, very full bodied, very long finish
a very enjoyable glass of wine
