July 29, 2016 - Wow, this is so dam good! I had backed off the Fevre band wagon after getting burnt on some 04s with premox and with the price jumps but I'm fully back on again. I've been buying these right too lately. The Montee De Tonnerre continues to somehow escape the attention it deserves and along with basic AOC remains one of the best values in Chardonnay world wide. Tonight's btl was spot on classic Chablis with intense, sappy, minnerally, citrusy, salty, full on, Chablis. A prefect pairing with fresh pan seared unadorned Halibut. The mouthfeel and mouthwatering acidity is perfection. Fantastic seaside nose. There is real range and complexity here. Just fantastic! 12.5% Alc 94pts+ Wish I had more than one 2011 left. Might have to ante up for some more.

July 19, 2016 - Like sucking on lemons! So citrusy. Just lovely minerality, so typical of a great chablis. What a keeper. Buy at any vintage.

July 4, 2016 - Classic Chablis chard. Limestone and citrus with no oak.

December 3, 2015 - Another great Fevre wine. Super citrusy in the front palate. No oak. Lovely wine.

    November 27, 2015 - PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs
    -translucent pale light gold green
-reduction funk sweet lemon sea water
-med+ acidity, med concentration with lean lemon pith bitter streak, average complexity and length
-drinking OK now but will hopefully become more interesting with a few more years, nowhere near the level of the Les Clos
