April 3, 2023 - Quirky but very enjoyable Grenache.
Mid weight texture, complex fruit and just a hint of acidity.
Significantly more enjoyable than 7 yes ago.

October 2, 2021 - Robert's Get-Together at Margaux's Table: PnP - Not sure why others in the group are down on this wine....I found it exactly like I thought it would be, i.e., big fruit, creamy mouthfeel and some secondary flavors. I liked this wine....while not Astralis, it is still pretty darn good (at least for me!) I did not notice or get the heat some others complained about, which is surprising because I am usually pretty sensitive to it! It could be that I was eating a crayfish stuffed filet when I was drinking this, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! 92 without reservation or hesitation!

October 2, 2021 - I'm a big fan of this producer, but this bottle was quite alcoholic. You can find some red berries, sweet vanilla and earth in there if you look hard enough.

October 2, 2021 - Mixed Wines at Margaux's Table (Margaux's Table, White Bear Lake, MN): Oof, that's a buggah. Wow, this is high octane, alcoholic (14.55% on the label - so with the extra decimal it "must" be accurate or at least they want us to think so), with lots of glycerin, black raspberry syrup, oak, and a full bodied plus frame. Yikes, keep the matches away.
