December 29, 2016 - An intriguing looking wine. Pale gold in colour, not like a 5 year old Chardonnay at all. A clean medium nose of lightly toasted bread, apple. Off dry, medium acidity, medium bodied with a creamy texture and a medium to long finish. Not sure where this goes next. Could get more complex but could easily fade away

February 16, 2013 - Aromas of ginger and spice; good weight of ripe fruit (lime, apple, melon), lovely freshness and cool minerality, nice creamy mouthfeel, beautifully judged touch of oak, very good length. A solid and very well made Chardonnay, that opens up beautifully over two days in the open bottle.

    January 16, 2013 - Pale yellow/gold colour.

Powerful aromas of orchard and citrus fruits, spicy and nutty oak, with hints of ginger.

A very complex and full-on palate of peach, nectarine, lemon, grapefruit, spice, fig, nuts and ginger. Kept me wanting to go back for more. Certainly not in the lean, Chabis style of Chardonnay. This is for those who like a bit more breadth. Mouth filling. Great value for $18. Can't wait for Reserve to come out now!
