June 11, 2020 - The fruit is well-aged, with a very light body and thin palate. The tannin is a bit rough but aeration smoothed it out. Pleasant, but not stellar. Drink now (2020).

December 26, 2019 - Compared with the '10 and '12 of the same cuvee, this one suffered. Still fine, but rather thinner and more acidic than the others. The '11s in general have not come around much, but hope prevails.

November 13, 2015 - Extremely enjoyable Chehalem Mtns. Oregon pinot. Cherry cola and black cherry on the nose. More of the cherry cola on the tongue with some cranberry and fresh rhubarb. There are fairly well resolved tannins, mouth watering acidity and a medium finish.

March 17, 2013 - Good look at this vintage. Better than 10, 09, looking more like 06. Fruity than I care for. Fairly light.

January 16, 2013 - 2 Days in the Valley- Day 1 (Willamette Valley, OR): Nose: This is a bit of a precocious nose right now with pretty tones of roses, violets, fresh picked berries and some hi-toned red fruits. Nice depth with an expressive side to it.

Taste: Lighter bodied, but with some substance along with medium+ acidity. The tones of roses, violets, fresh picked berries and spices are all balanced well together and very pretty.

Overall: This will need some time as there is a lot of nuance to it. This won't blow you away, but has a real attractive floral quality to it on both the nose and palate.
