May 27, 2016 - Garnet, medium legs, light sediment. Aromas of prune, raisin, vanilla and black pepper. Flavors of raisin, raspberry, a hint of strawberry. Medium body, medium finish, medium acidity. Bright and approachable. Friendly, great with simple Italian food. Paid $8; above average QPR. Drink now.

October 4, 2012 - A very good, versatile wine. Rich cherry, toasted oak, and a hint of cinnamon on the nose. Luscious mouthfeel with a hint of baking spice on the finish. Drinks well on its own and is even better with pasta with Bolognese sauce. An old world wine new world fans can surely enjoy.
