March 5, 2016 - Best showing I've had from this since release. The fragrance is haunting - piercing intensity and such complexity of flavour, with an array of green forestal, leafy, and herbal notes mingled with dark berried fruit and earth. The palate doesn't quite live up to the aromatics just yet - it feels a bit reserved in contrast with some fine grained tannin clamping down on the finish, but it still has that lightness and finesse that I always find in this bottling. Wonderful balance, but plenty of time and upside ahead.

April 30, 2015 - Very brief notes from TTTG (blind) (Vernon, CT): Very reticent nose that eventually reveals much more savoury and earthy notes than fruit. Very nice mouthfeel; some cherry. Long finish that ends with a good dose of minerality. Good now but with much better potential. Hold.2 people found this helpful Comment

April 30, 2015 - Third Thursday tasting group (Vernon, CT): Very pretty. Tobacco leaf, green herbs, dusty earth, and very fresh red and dark fruited flavours come together on a frame that's all about elegance and finesse. The tannin here is incredibly fine grained, and it's so graceful on the palate with a gentle, silky texture and bright acids giving it good lift.

April 30, 2015 - TTTG (Salil's): Nose features dark red fruit with a very predominant tobacco leaf note. Reserved and consistent on the palate, this comes across with balanced, bright fruit and tertiary flavors underneath a sweet topnote. Long finish. This is a very high-quality and food-friendly wine but doesn’t quite rise to the level of the 2009 in terms of complexity.
Very Good – Drink or Hold

April 16, 2015 - Very nice bottle. I would have enjoyed it much more, but for it's companions which drank even better ('10 Plouzeau and '13 Breton own-rooted versions). Red fruit and flowers, a little green pepper. I believe this was the last vintage from these vines, and perhaps they were declining by that year.
