December 20, 2014 - 12/20/2014 Note: Opened my 2nd (and last) bottle of this vintage. It's singing now! Same tasting profile as in 7/2013 but tannins are a marginally stronger than in 2013 and perfectly integrated and consistent. Still drinking well at back end of drinking window, better than last year.
7/16/2013 Note: Popped and poured BYOW from my cellar to restaurant. Medium body, nicely balanced dark berry fruit. Easy drinking with just the right degree of complexity to make it interesting. Medium finish. Light tannins more notable on the finish that appears to gain strength 30 min later. Not powerful but elegant. This wine is peaking now and should stay that way for a few years more.

November 16, 2014 - Slightly past it's peak. Smoky complex blackberry and a leathery finish. Cerebral and food friendly but perhaps not everyone's taste.

November 4, 2014 - Dark red in color. Restrained aromas of black cherry, violets, licorice and incense gives way to a medium bodied wine that shows sweet crushed red fruits, medium acidity, discernible wood and fine grainy tannins on the finish. At least this bottle felt a bit shut down on the nose.
