    March 31, 2016 - Really enjoyed this with our chicken marsala. Cellared since release. Decanted. Still quite youthful in color (purplish maroon with just a touch of bricking on the edges). Very dark for a brunello. The floral nose was a bit restrained but present. Still drinking well. Fresh, lovely dark fruits, mineral, spice and earthy undertones. Elegant, reserved - a very cerebral wine. Good acidity. Nice finish. Drink now.

    January 3, 2016 - Still open for business. Dark garnet, still youthful in appearance. Agree with prior review on flavors but with a bit more dried current, and some earthy. Flavors and finish gained intensity 30 min after opening. Solid. Accompanied Breaded Eggplant and Italian Sausage with Red Sauce.
