June 2, 2017 - Out of balance very acidic
May 17, 2017 - Not much to report. Read my previous notes. Consistent in it's disappointing profile. Well crafted, but just doesn't come together for me.
May 5, 2017 - Very simple and driven sweet'ish red berry fruit. Quite dissapointing.
March 6, 2017 - I drink one of these periodically, and occasionally write a note. Please read what I've posted previously; my opinion hasn't changed. This bottle has a mildly bitter finish which I find annoying. Very dry tannin on the finish. I rarely buy > 6 of anything. Why I went long here I can't explain, but regret.
February 4, 2017 - This is a really pretty Bourgogne with excellent depth and concentration for its level that's drinking beautifully tonight with just an hour or so of air.
September 22, 2016 - Drunk over 4 hours, not decanted. Decent, but hardly inspiring. Lacks focus. 87-88 range. I'm not optimistic that bottle age will bring any significant development.
May 12, 2016 - I've had several bottles of this, and every time I drink it I think, "dang. This is a little light in the shorts." All the components seem to be there, and then it falls off. So my major complaint is a clipped finish, but it is ultimately very one dimensional. Tannins are drying, preventing the fruit from expressing itself. Not sure if it's a vintage thing.
December 12, 2015 - Consistent with my previous note. I am not impressed with many BR but I would buy this again.
November 13, 2015 - This needed several hours of air for its initial acidity to resolve, then it was drinking beautifully with good depth and concentration for its level. Quite nice!!
November 12, 2015 - First night, a nice if a tad acidic bourgogne. After 4 nights in my fridge, it was still quite enjoyable. Quite a delight for this level of Burgundy and I'd buy again.
