September 20, 2014 - WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: clear, medium amber
Nose: clean, pronounced, honey, mushroom, floral notes, dried apricot, marmalade, vanilla, sweet spice, hay, toffee, nutty; developing
Palate: sweet, high acidity, medium(+) alcohol (12.5%), full body, pronounced, mushroom, orange peel, marmalade, hazelnut; long finish
Overall: Good balance, intense, long finish, complex
Conclusion: OUTSTANDING, PREMIUM-priced (£38.99), can drink now but has potential for ageing

September 19, 2014 - Vega Sicilia Tasting (Wine World, Seattle, WA): Great nose: Honey, apricot, nuts. Rich and dense, with more honey and apricot on the palate. Great acidity, almost mouthwatering, with a very clean finish.
August 12, 2014 - Pronounced nose of mushroom, marmalade, raisin, toast, oak, honey, nut, butterscotch.
Sweet, high acid, med+ body, pronounced notes of mushroom, marmalade, nut, citrus, orange peel, toast.
April 19, 2014 - Try as hard as we might we still did not manage to make it through 1.5 liters of this Tokaji.
Smokin' acidity right now but the sweetness carries it. A very clean style. I'd hold off drinking for a decade.

April 12, 2014 - Napa Valley Tour; 4/11/2014-4/15/2014 (French Laundry,Meadowood,Colgin,Araujo,Harlan....): Tasted single blind as part of a challenge/game with the sommelier at the FL.
Quite a lot of depth here that led us believe this was Sauternes from a light year. Good, elegant and balanced, good ripe fruits, light botrytis and overall a solid desert wine. We should have gotten this one right! 91
