October 27, 2023 - Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Very compact, nutty evolution in the aromas, structurally completely intact, zesty finish. Slightly unhinged.
October 25, 2023 - Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis): Flawed
October 25, 2023 - Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Too advanced, too oxidative. Not rated
June 4, 2023 - Loved this. Drank over 3 days. A white burg and a good very good St Aubin. Would I rebuy this at current prices? Hell no...
September 4, 2022 - Impressive - no premox, very fresh, nice light yellow color not gold. Racy acidity - a pleasure.
December 24, 2020 - Similar to prior notes but displaying some oxidative notes. While certainly past its peak; I must confess I found this quite interesting at this stage. Others in our group were not so fond. Drink now.
August 22, 2020 - PnP, then drunk over three days. Still quite reductive, but it dissipated rapidly. Still young, with some ripe fruit showing, together with other more mature notes, like hay and dried herbs. Intense on the palate and with some power, but lots of acidity too. Perhaps a bit rustic, but overall impressive and with quite a few years to go still.
July 29, 2020 - Don’t think I’ve ever had a bad bottle of Lamy. Popped open an hour before my boozy, long lunch. Initially very closed, this baby had to be decanted for about an hour before it started to unfurl. Lemon and lime, good mouthfeel and fresh acidity. A succulent white wine. This should last for a long time (on this showing).
March 23, 2019 - Turning gold
Appealing citrus notes, acidity moderated, holding together well
Ingenting å si på lengden her.
Dette er topp Saint-Aubin. 91-92p
