May 7, 2023 - an outstanding bottle that required four hours to open up. Lots of earth and leather, well balanced. Fruit is diminished but still in harmony.

June 27, 2020 - This has evolved into a real gem. Wonderful fruity nose and a complex focused finish. Fun and serious at the same time. Drinking beautifully.

January 3, 2020 - Still drinking nicely. Tannins calmed down and fruit still barely there. Leather. Cedar.

February 27, 2017 - Was past it's prime for sure in 2017. Weak in the palate.

December 1, 2016 - Dark garnet, clear complexion. Slighty muted at first but opened up to reveal a faint hint of tobacco leaf and cassis. Nothing bad about the wine, but not terribly exciting either. A perfectly acceptable midweek wine.

September 27, 2015 - Nice '2004'bouquet (bit severe, but very cabernet), also a bit severe in the taste, but nice to drink.

April 28, 2015 - Drank over two days and the wine improves considerably. Day two: The bouquet is a bit dusty with cassis, plum and earthy flavors. On the palate cassis, some sweet spices a touch of bell pepper, some chocolate, good acidity and pleasant tannin. The wine is mature now and offers really pleasant drinking after some air time. Will definitely still be ok in 2017.
