December 4, 2023 - Finally, a bottle of Pommard that I loved. This was thrilling with a haunting floral note and vivid fruits starting to turn from fresh to dried. There is a slight earthy element that is just starting to emerge. The ferrous note you would expect is there, but it exists in perfect balance with the other components. Absolutely delicious.

June 2, 2023 - So far this is decent but not great. More notes to follow, but I’m convinced that I will never find a Pommard that can compete with the wines from the village a few miles southwest.

This was quite nice a few hours after opening. Pinot with a lot of iron notes. As I said when I opened it, I like it, but don’t love it.

December 9, 2022 - Michel Gaunoux dinner: (WC) PNP - the first glass showed notes of ripe strawberries and a whiff of soy sauce.
After slow-ox for 7 hours, the nose became really spicy with aromatics of ocean air, fresh red berries and plants. It was powerful, clean and linear with good freshness and well-integrated tannins. There remained a touch of soy sauce, and the wine dropped slightly faster than other wines in the glass.

April 2, 2022 - Didn't show much, tight and austere. Off bottle or in a dumb phase?
