November 30, 2023 - My last bottle. Coravin’d a glass an hour before dinner. As you would expect, thin and tannic at first. But…put on weight over the course of the next two hours and toward the end of dinner this wine was exquisite. Fully integrated tannins, ripe red and blue fruits, balanced, graceful and pleasant. This wine is in its drinking window, but it will last another three to five years.

February 26, 2023 - Deep ruby, full body, aromas of anise, black fruits and vanilla, resolved tannins, mild acid, medium finish
January 22, 2023 - Drank well. Nice concentration, nice finish. Still has a lot of years left
January 15, 2023 - Keeps evolving in the cellar. Beautiful explosion of blueberries and dark sweet cherries in the front palate. The mid palate is dark plums with a touch of dark spices. The only flaw- the back palate is light, perhaps dried fruits? If the back palate matched the front and mid palatal power, this would be a 95 plus point powerhouse of a wine.
September 18, 2022 - Well balanced tart yet sweet black plums and cherries with tobacco and vanilla back notes.

August 15, 2022 - In a good spot but with some bottle life remaining, say 3-5 more years until it will fade. That said, it’s drinking really well now. We drank our last bottle over two nights. Deep garnet color. Lush, rich, dark fruit flavor with some licorice and vanilla tones. Very mouthfilling. Better on the second night. Solid cab that was very tasty.
February 18, 2022 - Vinturi + 1 hr decant. Dark garnet color. Strong blue & blackberry with vanilla on the nose. Still has some alcohol aroma as well. Medium palate, dark fruits and some oak towards the finish. Lengthy finish. Drinks we’ll if you let it open, but has plenty of life left. I’ll leave my other two bottles for a couple of years
November 12, 2021 - Needs an hour to open before you are rewarded with a medium bodied flavorful Cali cab of moderate complexity and the dark fruit and dark spice notes you'd expect. Before the hour, I was sadly bemused by what was in the glass.
September 22, 2021 - Vanilla on the nose. Very smooth. Clean finish.
