October 30, 2015 - Brought to a restaurant. PnP and consumed over the next 90 minutes. A beautiful bouquet with soil, funk, under-ripe strawberries and a bit of cinnamon. Palate is clean strawberry, raspberry a little soil and on the tail some white pepper. Light weight and elegant; could easily be taken for a Burg. Highly recommended.

October 3, 2013 - At Gary's Grand tasting. Pinot table pointed this out to try. Producting is very limited (~250 cases i think)

The elegance of the wine doesnt match the branding or lables - was expecting an overripe fruit bomb. Oregon style, lighter colors, terroir and spice on the nose. Some funk on the nose, a longer decant would oxidize this. Red fruits, candy, cola on the palate.

very nice, well made unique and elegant wine

May 19, 2013 - This showed great purity and freshness. I really appreciated the feather weight and lacey elgance of this wine. I'll seek it out and buy some if its not over priced. This is a great Oregon find for PN traditionalist if the price is right. Tasted blind I was conflicted but guessed French.

May 19, 2013 - Monthly Tasting Group: Blind Pinots Worldwide (Cafe Lurcat, Mpls, MN): Medium light red color. Drank 1 gloass blind over 20 minutes. This had a very distinctive nose with a marked burnt rubber quality, scorched earth, cherry, spice. The palate has a similar taste with burnt rubber, scorched earth, red fruit, mostly cherry, light body, spicy and a bit sharp on the finish. I thought this was a little different; with the burnt rubber dominating too much. Others enjoyed this more than me.

May 19, 2013 - Brought to a blind tasting, opened ~ 4 hours before drinking. Funky nose is the telltale sign this is my bottle. Funk, minerals, red fruit ont the nose. On the palate light red fruit, a bit of spice, nicely balanced. Most guessed France. Will be curious to see how long I can hold on to my other bottle. Good stuff.

March 10, 2013 - Decanted for one hour. Floral, and red berry flavors were immediately evident and very persistent. This wine really demonstrates what Dundee Hills fruit is capable of producing in the hands of a terrific wine maker. Five years from now, the assigned score will likely seem too low.

January 19, 2013 - Great nose and big fruit. This wine is another remarkable Oregon Dundee Hills pinot noir. In 4 or 5 years it will be outstanding.
