January 15, 2014 - Dark red color and aroma of fruit and spice. Decent wine but not as enjoyable as Bokisch Tempranillo and Graciano. Not much fruit with rather rich tannins - possibly needs to open up and definitely need to drink with food. Also, finish was lacking.

March 19, 2013 - Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Medium garnet color. Pleasant nose of cherries, plums, a bit of pepper, some darker spices. Delicious but simple on the palate, as plum and pomegranate flavors lead in an overall softish acid balance. Finishes quickly with light grip and near-zero tannins. For those times when you need a slurper, this wine fills the bill; it's very approachable, pleasant, and well-made. Easy drinking.

January 7, 2013 - Oxidized. Brownish tints in the color, and raisiny, wet-blanket aromas. No fruit discernible anywhere.
