March 4, 2017 - Agree with other reviews, fruit forward but nice wine.

October 8, 2015 - Stewed red fruit, raspberry and strawberry sauce on the nose; red raspberry confit on the palate. A little over extracted at this point, but still tasty. More like a dessert wine, with a port-like finish.

February 3, 2014 - It had been a year since I last tried this wine, and some cellar time really did great things for it. It was still a very fruit driven and forward wine, but it was much more open and accessible, as opposed ot monolithic. The red fruit was transparent enough to allow some dusty/earthy elements come into play as well. I really enjoyed this a lot, and it made a great match with a medium-rare ribeye steak!

December 9, 2013 - Plush and velvety, but also a bit singular. Lots of clean and dense red fruit--pomegranate and raspberry. Nothing sharp about the wine at all, but I would like a little more complexity at this price point.

December 1, 2013 - Consistent with most recent prior note. Color is dark red. Scents are distinctly blackberry and blueberry. Tastes were blackberry and blueberry, and comparably fruity sweet (but not anything close to dessert wine sweet). Second day was surprisingly even better, with very pronounced fruits and smooth finish. Very nice.
