March 23, 2020 - Very basic.
November 10, 2019 - Similar to my previous note. Enjoyable, clean, but simple and over-priced. Went well with prawn and ginger stir-fry.
March 29, 2019 - The petrol whiff referred to by a couple of previous reviewers is about the only thing left in this, my last bottle of the 2012.
I am a massive fan of Bin 51 but this was an underwhelming year. If you have any left then can I suggest they go into the bin marked ‘raffle prizes’ or take them to a party (but don’t let anyone see you leave them on the worktop!).
January 28, 2018 - Hint of petrol on the nose. Citrus and lime palate, very pleasant but a little simple.
November 5, 2017 - A whiff of kerosene on the nose. I don't get a lot else. Not the most concentrated. Slightly sweetish finish.
February 12, 2017 - Delicately perfumed nose, some citrus but quite shy; a little more development on the palate., light body, good refreshment here. A little short but pleasant while it lasts.
August 27, 2016 - On the lean side, good structure, citrus notes and nutty, mineral palate.
March 27, 2015 - Excellent Riesling with some mature notes of petrolium yet fruit driven with good acidity. Well balanced and would develop further in the cellar for 2-3 years
April 11, 2014 - Pale chartreuse colour. Hint of petrol on nose. Tense marmalade, grapefruit entry with lingering, bone-dry finish
May 31, 2013 - Petrol, lime, citrus fruit on the nose. Very young on the palate, crisp, limey, long finish. Needs time.
