December 31, 2019 - 12 year vertical of first 12 vintages that I brought from my cellar. Tasted with Rollin, Corby, my wife, my cousin and spouse, several wine writers and a food blogger invited by Rollin and Corby.

January 26, 2015 - Well that is darn good. And and juicy right now. Touch of a harder finish - but in a great mineral fleshy way.

August 2, 2013 - Willamette Valley Oregon Trip 4 & 1/2 Days; 7/29/2013-8/4/2013 (Willamette Valley, Oregon): Wit's End. Vanilla, ripe, sweet, plum, cherry pie, licorice, slightly stewed fruit on the palate. Complex and deeper, also shows some heat.

April 26, 2012 - Dark ruby with medium viscosity in the glass. Black cherry skin, strawberry, kirsch and cedar on the nose. Medium body with oak, strawberry and green pepper on the palate. Grippy tannin. Med-short finish. Heat and oak are disjointed and don't know if time will help.

April 19, 2012 - Mountains to Metro (Heritage Ballroom in the Governor Hotel): Much larger and bigger, with more noticeable oak than their 2008. Lots of oak spice here, and it feels a bit fat... it smells like it has a muffin top. Better palate entry, with nice fruits, but it gets progressively deeper and darker as its held. This offers blackberries that are heavy and ripe. Alcoholic and far larger on the finish than I prefer... pretty darn off putting alcohol, in fact.
