August 30, 2012 - Honestly - I am positively shocked. I believe this was way before they started buying grapes from all over the state. I believe this to be a Napa cab. 1999 was a very good year for Napa and this $2 entree is very good. Positiveily amazing for the price. Clean cork, brick in color, very little tannins, but amazingly good all considered. Makes me think I should buy a few every year and just put them away for fun. jr

January 27, 2003 - Justin Magaram's little experiment...
Two Buck Chuck. High pitched notes of cherry, cloying oak, alcohol and some almost please hints of black pepper. On the palate there is a reasonable bit of acid, and bitter fruit. Not much of a finish to speak of. I can't really rate this, and I was very glad to have a spittoon in front of me all night...
