June 24, 2014 - dark plum colour, clear. nose: bit jammy, sweet prunes. taste: low acid, low tannins; plum jam, peppery finish. good drinkability, but nothing special.

April 15, 2013 - At the price, this is a damn good wine. Certainly light bodied and with a short finish, but there's some really nice peppery red fruit, at least typical of the area, and this was tasted 3 days after opening.

February 23, 2013 - It was just ok. Nothing special about this wine. Buy and serve to people you have over for dinner and don't want to spend a lot of money. At 10$ it's a crowd pleaser. Medium bodied ... White pepper... Cigarette ash ... Red fruit .... On the nose. Berry and spice on the finish. Underwhelming! But what do you expect for 10$

December 13, 2012 - Initial goopy dark fruit, a weird plastic aftertaste, with a lot of alcoholic heat. Not much to like here. With some time and vigorous swirling this knits together a bit and provides slightly more pleasure, but not much more.

Not every ten dollar bottle of wine is an undiscovered gem.
