May 18, 2017 - The nose is telltale Chambolle. Obviously young but this was drinking well. There was a hint of green that was a slight distraction. This should fade away over time and leave a very nice wine. Earthy tones, red fruit, dark fruits. Not necessarily 92 today but giving some benefit to what this should become. The components are there - would give this another 5 years.

May 17, 2017 - Perhaps a bit young, but delicious nonetheless. Red-fruited, light, and elegant, both on the nose and palate. The palate does seem a little simplistic at this stage, though it feels as if there is a lot more waiting to emerge. The tannins are moderately grippy, and the acidity fairly tame here. Things are in good balance, and the red-fruited iron character in Chambolle shows reasonably clearly here; it's just that this isn't the most complex and exciting iteration of Chambolle.

    May 6, 2017 - Villages de la Côte d'Or: Ouvert 2 heures à l'avance, non carafé.

November 23, 2016 - Still the benchmark chambolle, 12 with very good fruit and intensity, with a tad too much toast. Gonna be very good when the new oak subsides. Drank along side 13.

September 23, 2016 - Pretty and approachable with a full palate of flavors. At another level of depth for a village wine, with well integrated components
