April 30, 2011 - Still hanging in there.
October 31, 2010 - Good color with decent legs. Fragrant with dark fruit. Spicy. Palate is lean, even rustic, but not mean. No signs of decline, but unlikely to get much better. 5-11-15-6: 87/100
January 21, 2008 - Fine simple quaffer at this point. Simple, short finish. Light cherry cough drop on the nose and some sweet cherry on the palate. Medium-bodied.
July 21, 2007 - this bottle was terrible. spoiled.
June 12, 2007 - Wine was cloudy and carbonated. Terrible. Threw it out.
March 23, 2007 - tasted three bottles over two years. do not like this wine at all.
October 12, 2006 - Popped and poured. Very light in the mouth with a bit of an "off" taste. Scents of blackberry and vanilla. Thought it was either a bad bottle or needed time. Vacuumed and put back in the wine fridge. Next night made a world of difference. Nose now of raspberry, cherry, and mushroom with the cherry becoming more dominate as time went on. Still a bit light on the mid-palate, but seems to have picked up some weight overnight. Palate showed sour cherry and spice. Long finish showing some black pepper and spice.
January 26, 2006 - Color was light, cloudy, and brick red color. Strawberry, scents of earth, and raspberry on the nose. This is a medium-bodied, strawberry and cherry on the palate. Medium to long finish, and very well balanced.
This wine seemed to pick up a bit more cherry on the palate the second night after vacuuming and storing in the wine fridge overnight. The finish seemed to pick up for a longer period the second night as well.
January 24, 2006 - On the nose, strawberry, earth and raspberry, along with backgrounds hints of mushroom. On the palate, cherry and strawberry, with a little bit of mushrooms. Very nice acids levels, though just a tad weak in the mid-palate. Elegant, with a medium to long finish. Nice sense of balance overall, a very nice wine. My favorite of the two pinots tasted this night.
