  January 24, 2022 - From a magnum, spectacular nose of cinnamon, earth and even truffles. Medium weighted, robust but acidity keep things intact, savoury and really enjoyable, in a great spot for drinking now, but no rush.

  refined and structured. Has enough fruit to match the old world character.
  
  nose of leafy dark cherry, cola, pipe tobacco, varnished wood and green herbs.
  
  almost full bodied, strong acid on opening, and serious dusty tannins with solid grip on the finish.
  
  palate of, tart blackerry and cherry, french oak, sarsaparilla, tar, and bitter chocolate. terracotta minerality.
  
  shows my favorite qualities of sangiovese with added body and structure from the bordeaux varietals.
  
  still very tannic and definitely built to last. i see room for improvement in the cellar.

  October 17, 2014 - We purchased a few cases of this for our wedding reception. It was a great choice - reasonably priced and much better than the standard wine the caterer was offering.
