January 26, 2021 - Very balanced with great structure. Hint of smoke on the nose. Smooth tannin with a somewhat delicate fruit profile that is classic sweet cherry and (smooth) cranberry. Some mineral is in the finish and it has some good length.

May 21, 2017 - Fairly muted nose of sour candy and fruit. Cherry cola dominates the palate. Feels light, but not necessarily thin. Definitely identifiable as a Willamette PN. Paired nicely with a pork loin in the slow cooker with applesauce.

March 11, 2017 - W meatloaf dish. Next to the 2010. This was a good bottle. Good fresh color, decent nose and good fruit on palate. We decanted about half hour befor efirst sip and bottels lasted for 3 + hours. This got better but nevet got close to the '10. This was good wine but one dimensional, very much red fruit. Good combo with the food.

February 8, 2016 - Relatively pale red color. Nice light aroma dominated by cherry with a touch of strawberry. Initial flavor is slightly astringent sour cherry which will hopefully go away as it breathes. Interesting smoky , almost burned, taste. Long finish but relatively simple. Should improve with more time but seems unlikely to get much better. After half an hour the astringency has eased off somewhat but still has an odd rawness. After three hours the wine eventually came around with the bad issues mostly dissipated and got up to 89 or so but it remained relatively simple and monotonal in flavor profile. This was the only bottle of this I had so will never know if this bottle is representative or odd.

April 28, 2013 - Nice red fruit start with background spice. Red fruit again on palate with some nuanced textures. A little one dimensional, probably would benefit from another year or two in bottle.
