March 10, 2022 - Definitely Grand Crus quality A bit shut at the moment. Needs decanting or a lot of coaxing. No hurry to drink.

May 12, 2019 - Late night at La Maison du Colombier, Beaune: A luxurious nose of mainly red fruit - cherries and plums, in particular - red liquorice and a touch of dried herbs. On palate, packed full of tons of juicy red fruit, with some spicy or herbal higher tones. Again, there was no pyrazine or major green character, I could detect. Lighter weight for a Grand Cru, but the refined and delicate red fruit provides plenty of interest. Delicious. Very easy to drink. Also easy to under-rate. Very good.
