October 28, 2018 - Opened after the 97 and 01 Leflaive Chevalier Montrachets and the 00 Raveneau Clos. This did not suffer in their company. So very meursault in its acidity and minerality. Less noticeable oak on this bottle than my previous bottle. Incredibly precise. In an ideal drinking window now.
My 5th and last bottle. Sad to see it go but glad to have been able to share it at its peak.
May 4, 2018 - Epure blind. Enjoyable, but a bit lightweight paired to Leflaive Chevalier this evening. Had better bottles.
October 8, 2017 - Light gold, melon and edgy. Solid luncheon wine.
November 5, 2016 - Again, very rich fruit with citrus and citrus rind. A hint of oak. With time it picks up some aged notes and some vanilla custard. Another wonderful 01 Roulot.
September 1, 2016 - Yellow-gold. Muted fresh hazelnut nose. Palate is a bit acidic and green. Past its best? Too young? Bad bottle?
April 17, 2016 - Man this is so good. Such much richness and aged notes and so much acidity. So good I couldn't wait longer than a week to open the next one.
