May 16, 2021 - Excellent Napa Cab in the riper style--I might have guessed Caymus Special Selection--very tasty but enough weight to hold up to the strong blueberry/vanilla/leather. Probably at peak; very smooth, drinking beautifully.

July 12, 2019 - At 10 years of age, I think this one is doing well. Probably a couple of years away from the top but overall excellent structure. Compared to a 13, this cork was a bit darker as you would expect. Darker fruit profile on the nose and palate as well. Blackberry, pie spice, dark chocolate, herbal. Finishes with a hint of cola. Tannins have started to resolve. All in all this wine has come along nicely. A bit different than the 13 that it was consumed alongside, but both wines have excellent structure and an excellent pedigree!

May 21, 2019 - Very nice cab that hits many of the right notes in a modern but yet classy way. Silky on the palate with good structure and a beautiful finish. Just missing a little complexity but delicious and elegant. Great QPR

December 15, 2018 - Showing better than my last bottle, over a year ago. Medium-to-full bodied and quite elegant. The palate is full of red and black fruits offering a surprising degree of freshness despite being 9 years old. There’s a blanket of fine grained tannins on the back end that provide a sense of grip and lead to a long, dusty finish. Excellent.

November 23, 2017 - Nice mid-to-full bodied cab that seems to be at the front end of its drinking window. I’m looking forward to seeing how my other two bottles do with additional cellar time.

February 19, 2016 - The wine has a dark purple core going to a clear edge. The nose is clean with notes of cassis, bitter chocolate, flowers, and dark cherry. Medium acidity and fine Rutherford tannins coat the mouth. Very nice long finish.

August 21, 2015 - Another very enjoyable wine for the evening. Didn't take detailed notes unfortunately. This was drinking well young and if I remember correctly was a pop and pour without a decant.

October 18, 2014 - Phenomenal nose, along the lines of botanical gardens in early spring. Less intense than most napa cabs but absolutely smooth finish.

August 15, 2014 - Private Dinner at Craft Butchery (Craft Butchery in Westport, CT): I really enjoyed this tonight and it was my first time trying Bressler. Nose was big and thick with aromas of cherry, blackberry, rose and fat. Wasn't bacon fat just reminded me of something deep fried. This had some sweet fruit and caressing tannins, with flavors of cherry, raspberry, blackberry and iron. Finish lasted for about 30-35 seconds. Really hit the spot tonight.
