November 26, 2023 - Waited 10+ after drinking the first 2007 Clos de Tart I first tried, it is better and can still evolve. This was good but really not great.

October 2, 2023 - Lovely nose, raspberry, underripe strawberry, a lovely cedar note and a touch of leafy tobacco. Similar on palate, there was good concentration but still with a supple mouthfeel. Nice and light on the palate to the extent I was very surpirsed to see this was 14% alchol on the label!

Took a good 2+ hours to begin really opening up and showing its full potential - ideally I'd have opened a bit sooner to enjoy more at the peak, but a very quality wine nonetheless. I ultimately felt that this really showed the Grand Cru status of the vineyard.

September 20, 2023 - Medium deep red in glass. Nice pinot nose, more than two years ago, so might still improve additional one or two years. More than that might get too much truffle or barnyard for me. Drank firm and velvety, still had underlying power, changing with time in glass. Some truffle, a little drying tannins.

May 4, 2023 - Sadly a bad bottle. Lots of earth & funk & some hidden red fruits. Very dull We let it sit till the next day & it didn't improve at all. Browning at the edges & faint fruit. I thought it was defective. Sadly my last bottle.

November 15, 2022 - good and elegant red fruited burg, on this night / this bottle not worth the price tag... did fit the bill for our friends -- who said they like their reds on the elegant / subdued side... just nothing to spark my interest on the palate, again this was nonetheless nice drinking (NR)

November 7, 2021 - For me, just a hair behind the Ponsot CdlR for WOTN. This wine was superb, and met my high expectations. It was compact enough to suggest for me another 5 years will benefit more expression. Not too advanced in profile either, with sappy red and black fruits. Coiled and intense, this wine wore its pedigree well.

November 7, 2021 - In a lovely place, Fruit was a little more forward than the Ponsot or Rugiens-Bas. Lovely elegant red cherry fruit, very pure. Had a rather soft entry on the palate suggesting some maturity. In a great spot. Maybe not as long lived as the other '07's but no complaints opening now.
