September 22, 2018 - Rather full-throated, focused, though not blowsy. Certainly well-made, complex layers, though a bit much for my oh so delicate West Sonoma tasting sensibilities. A food wine for sure, with a few sips permitted beforehand. Stood up well to kamado-smoked sri-racha marinated chicken and roasted potatoes.

April 1, 2018 - Rich and hedonistic, dark ripe fruit, spice, pepper flavor with plentiful smooth tannins.

November 10, 2017 - Possibly an off bottle. Thin and acidic with an almost sulfuric fish oil smell. Not corked as decanting lessened the impact but still off. Cherry cola and vanilla loom pretty faintly here.
